Cheeseburger Bowl Recipe (No Bun, Low-Tox)

This Cheeseburger Bowl is everything you love about a classic cheeseburger — without the bun. It's built on a crisp low-tox lettuce mix, topped with juicy mini beef patties, melted raw cheese, smoky crispy potatoes, and all the classic fixings. Clean ingredients, big flavor.

Ingredients

Serves 4

The Base

  • Low-tox lettuce mix — butter lettuce + romaine

The Patties

  • 2 lbs ground beef, divided into 4 oz patties
  • Generous salt
  • Garlic powder

The Cheese

  • Raw cheese slices (melted on top of patties)

Smoked Yukon Potatoes

  • Yukon Gold potatoes, diced
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder

Toppings

Instructions

1. Roast the Potatoes

Preheat oven to 425°F. Dice Yukon Gold potatoes and toss with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast for 30–40 minutes, tossing halfway through. Watch for that golden crunch — pull them when the edges are crispy and irresistible.

2. Season & Grill the Patties

Divide 2 lbs of ground beef into 4 oz portions and form into patties. Season generously with salt and garlic powder on both sides. Grill to medium or your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, lay a slice of raw cheese on each patty and let it melt.

3. Build Your Bowl

Start with a generous bed of butter lettuce and romaine. Add one or two patties, a scoop of crispy potatoes, sliced avocado, and pickles. Drizzle with organic ketchup, mustard, and a generous pour of homemade low-tox ranch.

Notes

  • Low-tox tip: Choose grass-fed beef, raw milk cheese, and organic condiments where possible to keep this bowl as clean as it is delicious.
  • Potato crunch: Don't skip the halfway toss — it's the secret to even browning.
  • Make it a meal prep: Patties and potatoes reheat well. Keep toppings fresh and assemble to order.
